RVNL Q4 Results: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) announced its January to March quarter results for the financial year ended 2024-25 on Wednesday, 21 May 2025. The Navratna PSU giant witnessed a 4 per cent fall in their fourth quarter net profits to ₹459 crore, compared year-on-year (YoY) with ₹478 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
The company’s revenue from core operations dropped 4.2 per cent to ₹6,427 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal, compared to ₹6,714 crore in the same period a year ago.
RVNL’s total expenses for the quarter also dropped 4.5 per cent to ₹6,120 crore, primarily due to the reduction in the firm’s expenses from operations, compared year-on-year with ₹6,714 crore in the same period a year ago.
The Railway construction and development company’s board of directors approved on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, that RVNL will pay its shareholders a final dividend of ₹1.72 per share with a face value of ₹10 apiece for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
This means that every eligible shareholder will receive a dividend payment of ₹1.72 per share for every share they already own of the PSU giant.
The Board “Recommended Final Dividend of Rs. 1.72/- per share (i.e. 17.20%) on the paid-up equity share of face value of Rs. 10/- each of the Company for the financial year 2024-25 subject to approval of the Shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM),” said the PSU giant in the NSE filing.
According to the filing data, the company will pay the final dividend within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the first Annual General Meeting (AGM).
RVNL shares closed 0.70 per cent lower at ₹412.10 after Wednesday’s stock market session, compared to ₹415 at the previous stock market session. The company announced the fourth quarter results and the final dividend issue after stock market operating hours on 21 May 2025.
RVNL shares have given stock market investors more than 2,300 per cent returns on their investments in the last five years and 20.83 per cent in the last one-year period.
On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the shares have lost 3.54 per cent in 2025. however the stock is trading 9.59 per cent higher in the last five stock market sessions.
The shares hit their 52-week high level at ₹647 on 15 July 2024, while the 52-week low level was at ₹295.25 on 7 April 2025, according to the data collected from BSE. The company’s market capitalisation was at ₹85,923.68 crore as of the market close on 21 May 2025.
